So, Ive been playing this first/third person shooter quite a lot recently and I have to say I do enjoy it even if my actual skill level is pretty non-existent and getting killed quickly seems to be one of the things that I am good at.
You start the game in the back of a plane with a parachute on and have to launch yourself out and land somewhere on an island and be the last one standing. Sounds relatively straightforward until you factor in the other 99 players jumping out of the same plane and foraging for whatever weapons and armour they can get before going on a killing spree against other likeminded human players.
If you aim for the more built up areas you are in for some quick action as everyone races into the houses grabbing whatever they can. If you decide to float on the wind and go to some areas further away from your flight path you may find it less densely populated giving you a better chance of getting all the loot (guns etc.) to yourself.
To add spice to the game and to enable each round to end in time there is an ever decreasing white circle which you must remain within, to stay outside it eventually you will start taking hits to your health so you wanna land, get some gear and go towards the white circle all the while watching for other players to kill. Everyone is doing the same thing.
It sounds like it might get monotonous but far from it, each game is different and you can choose from various set ups. You can go in solo, go in as a duo or team up in a quadruplet and go in against other teams. These team battles are the funnest as some tactics need to be demonstrated to succeed.
But like I say I never tend to last particularly long as I usually get killed by folk I cant see.
If you’re a player and ever want to team up have a search in game for Col. Shikishima or find me on Steam under the name OGAAT.
