Yup, that's Berlin - in the background you can see the "Siegessäule" (victory column) and the street is the "Straße des 17. Juni" (Street of June 17th) running through Tiergarten.

Was on REFORGER 88. My first time in Germany. Of course it was West Germany back then. Landed at Ramstein Airbase about a week after the airshow disaster. Spent three weeks or so and had a great time. Was amazed at the amount of troops involved. Columns of military vehicles as far as the eye could see. Drove my tank all over the place. Ahhh....the good old days.
