How to remove paint from models?
I was using some chemical thing (Mr Musculo it was called) for cleaning ovens, but results were not very good...

Depends what kind of paint...enamel or acrylic? I understand that the oven cleaner is good for enamel, but obviously it hasn't worked for you (assuming your paint is enamel). I have heard that brake fluid will work, or something called "Fairy Power Spray" (I don't know what it is).

For acrylics, try an ammonia based window cleaner.

Test these on some sprue first!

I hate enamel paints. Can you not just paint over it. :)
