Often wonder how things could have been if more of the Division landed closer to the bridge, and thus there would have been more airborne troops with Col. Frost. Even another battalion would have expanded(double it in size) the bridgehead, and would had held out long enough. One of the great "What If's".

Superb. And that is probably nothing compared to the real thing.
IMO this operation was among the worst and ill planned during the whole WWII concerning intelligence gathering and evaluation.
Also it showed German's ability to form battle groups made from scratch and without the so called unit bounds,battle groups that fought with great efficiency.
