Bald is Courage.
You've never been truly naked until you've shaved your head to a shiny Q-Ball... Feels like losing a limb or something...
Fun too.
I always wanted to be bald...but my skull says no...least hair i had is 1mm...and i looked like a shit...
Bald rocks.... save a fortune on hair gel, brushes, combs etc. ... and.... you can get up for work 10 minutes later. :)

Corsaire31

Indian chief Crazy Horse, just a little wink to my previous life...
Allusion to Bootie's post in the club news:
" 2 - FYI Corsair31 is my old friend Loic (CrazyHorse) - it was him and me that originally started the FGM (see The FGM Story)... in that I wrongly advised he went of to sell scooters when in actual fact he had gone to become head of sales in France. Regardless he has rejoined Appei Feu the French wargaming club and has also rejoined the FGM. Its good to come across old colleagues again"

Main gaming rig on the left, I use the laptop for internet Wi Fi connection, and when playing CM to display Tac Maps (pics I take in 8 view where I mark sights of troops, my original plan so I don't forget it...lol) and a short AAR of each game to keep in mind what's going on where. When you get old, you have to make up for bad memory and brain cells dying...
The right screen is my girlfriends computer.

They are metal models of WW2 famous fighter planes, one of my other centers of interest.
Rig is an oldie, Asus P5QN Pro, Intel Core Duo E 8500, 4 Go RAM, ATI HD 5850, Logitech Gamepad, Logitech 3D pro joystick, Logitech G35 headset to hear tracks coming..., Thrustmaster steering wheel and pedals, Track IR5 for flight sim IL2 and ARMA 2, screen is Acer 22" 16/10 (hate modern 16/9 for games).
One day I will have my gaming bastion, right now too many kids right now. Say in about 6-7 years and the first one is off to the big wide world and I'm dibs on his room. lol.

I also used to fly a lot Falcon 4 / F4 AF - was at some time squadron leader in a virtual unit - but got tired of pushing buttons. WW2 is more personal and dirty.

for some more photos go to my units webpage http://reenactor.se/FHF/fotofilm.html, its all in Swedish unfortunately but just klick the camera icon and it will take you to the different events.
Girlfriend? naaah! what are they for!? I lived together with a girl, but broke up 3 years ago and haven't manage to find a new love since then.
But that also means I can play more games :) when I was 20 I had a girlfriend that got so sick with my Steelbeasts playing so she gave me the ultimatium, her or the game. Ended when she found me "cheating" on her playing steelbeasts at 2 in the night :D

Blanks, same stuff the army uses on exercises :) damn expensive to! the .303 blank goes for 1£ a round! :O
the fighting part is just a small part of the experience, so we have no rules and nobody running around "I hit you! you are dead" but its pure honesty. If you see someone shooting you you fall down and take the hit and pretend to be either dead or wounded. being wounded means the unit medic get some work to do :)

What took you so long, mate? :) And, believe me - it will stay warmer. Last winter I shaved my beard and then I realized how much can a beard protect your face from the cold.

Well the Welden's historically don't seem to have a lot of hair...it always had gaps in it and I looked like some bum on the street. I am happy so far and it saves on razors, shaving cream etc.

Today we celebrated Saint Nicholas (Sinterklaas in Dutch). Its about the same thing as Santa so kids get loaded with presants. And "Sinterklaas" of course also (mom and dad). I had Mario Bros for the Wii and my wife got the latsest Professor Layton for the NDS. The kids got all sort of things...

No just Sinterklaas. We do give eachother presant with Christmas but the kids get just a small gift. Once they dont believe in Sinterklaas no more we celebrate Christmas.

Well I'm sure there are similar mugs in that album! LOL
