Thanks for visiting our club and having a look around, there is a lot to see. Why not consider becoming a member?

It sure has been a while from the time I found the demo of CMBO in a local games magazine demo disc. In retrospect it's a complete mystery to me how I managed to beat both of the missions. Maybe I set the difficulty to easiest and lucked out a little? Does that game even have a difficulty setting? Wouldn't know; I don't think I understood English back in the day.

After that the series went under my radar for many years. Since then I've learned English, gone through actual military service, learned about the crushing reality of having to pay rent, and over the past few years picked up a couple of the newer titles. Never personally met anyone who even knows what Combat Mission is so I figured here is probably my best bet at trying to play these things head to head like they're more or less meant to.

So, hello. Can't say I'm any good, but it's the journey that counts, not the tank shell that ends it.

Greetings and welcome @Rujasu

It's a great place to chat, find assistance, get your butt kicked (not by Zinzan) and be given helpful advice by your opponents and by golly it's one of the few gaming clubs I've ever been in where most members actively try and help you get better so YOU can kick their butts next time????? - It's mad I tell you!!!

So, hello. Can't say I'm any good, but it's the journey that counts, not the tank shell that ends it.
Love the quote, and the sentiment. - you should fit in fine :)

Hello Rujasu, great intro!
Welcome to THE FEW GOOD MEN!
Good to have you with us! :)

Similar experience here (back in the year 2002 or so): Saw the box of the first Combat Mission in a pc store, bought it, installed it ... thought "what a crap" - and was already addicted! :D :D :D
