Name That Battle Game

Sweet. I had it down to either Glendale or Malvern Hill. Ended up just choosing one and hoping for the best :D.

Here's the next one:

Battle of Nuʻuanu?

"Caught between the Hawaiian Army and a 1000-foot drop, over 700 Oʻahu warriors either jumped or were pushed over the edge of the Pali (cliff). In 1898 construction workers working on the Pali road discovered 800 skulls which were believed to be the remains of the warriors that fell to their deaths from the cliff above."

Google-fu (but no image searching). I actually thought it may have been Mayans or Incas involved. I had no idea Hawaii had its own conflicts...

Should be an easy one for one particular member...

Yep -- a rather fanciful representation of the battle of Battle of Cuito Cuanavale in Angola 1988 from the Angolan/Cuban side.

@Ithikial -- yes, that Ratel IFV was a pretty cool vehicle (terribly dated now) -- a bit of a tincan in conventional warfare, but really fast, very long range ... designed for long range, highly mobile bush warfare ...

@Rico my brief skim of that battle suggests a large (?) part of the SADF's success was due to exactly that capability: highly mobile bush warfare isolating and eliminating individual enemy units.

Heavy emphasis on 'brief' on my behalf....
