I propose that Domination II probably needs to end and perhaps Domination III should be started. What does everyone think? Other than an overhaul of the current rules, should new rules be included? With the New Year approaching, the time may be right for a new beginning.

But I will say a updated rules would be a good thing...with or with out the shut down.

I say rework the roolz where/if needed. Let's keep Dom II rolling for now. Maybe there will not be a need for a complete restart....just a mid-course correction.

Rico's will be called whatever he likes, but I am talking about restarting Domination II over. We don't need to change the name I guess. But the problems that we are having recently is that the rules need to be overhauled and teams need adjusted. I think there are only a couple Allied players who are active and numerous Axis. You will notice that the number of games has dropped of dramatically in the last couple months.

We should at least see it through to the original deadline. I think that is 12-31-09.

I am all for a new set of rules.

I will even help in developing them.

I'd also like to see more balanced sides, and have two people appointed the overall commanders of the axis and allies, with all the people who want to play thrown into a pool and then sides are picked. That way we can make it more balanced. It seems everyone wants to play axis. Personally, I am a stronger player from the allied side, so I don't get it, but oh well.

Three things we need to do then if we are going to restart:

1) need rules committee of x people (I volunteer)
2) need to choose or vote commanders of both sides ( I would say one west one east, but that does not mean that a commander cannot play games in either east or west)
3) need to post a sign up list well in advance so that when we start January 1, everything will flow.
4) Since the Axis is a breath from London, I suggest that WHOEVER has at least one capital, wins the current game...

5) rules governing kit picks to nationalities is not on. I think that if you want to play a historical game relevant to a front, knock yourselves out. If not, play who you want to play... its supposed to be fun and the more rules we place on the game (not from a strategic, but a tactical level) the less players we will have*.

6) Whatever Rico wants... its his baby.
