1979 Daytona 500

I´ve never found myself watching an entire car race before in my life. Yet, I watched this race from finish to start for 3 hours. ( with the occasional intermission)
It was pretty action packed and intense, with great commentators.
I just might have tumbled into my favorite sport here, since soccer has become to homo-erotic for my taste, and unsportsman like. One needs only to mention Neymar for instance.

Just the intensity of it, and the dramatic ending.
And it was a kind of warm feeling to see the low quality footage from 1979. Reminded me when I was a kid. Bit nostalgic.
Just mind boggling that cars driving 200 miles per hour manage to stay just inches apart like that. Sound was awesome to.
Oh and one major note. You would see small clips in between of interviews of the top contenders at their homes and such. That kinda engaged you more to the whole thing. It made you think of persons racing, and not just cars with numbers on. Just an awesome well put together 3 hours of top entertainment.
