Anyone fancy an RT ladder game?

Medium to large (not huge) and 4+ turns per week.

Drop me a PM if interested.

How about a Large Probe? You propose the terms and I pick the side?

The way I do it, you pick all the terms. Every single one including house rules. Then I pick the side with no modification to any terms.

That way, one has every incentive to create something fair and balanced.

Here is a sample template of a game I am playing now:

CMFI--Map 127p

Iron Setting

Attack (US Army attacks German Army)
Large
1 Hour 30 minutes
France
Combat Force: Mix
No force adjustment
Human Unit Purchase
Map Preview allowed
Force Adjustment: No change
1944
October
Day
Clear
Damp
Strict Rarity

Special Rules:

1) No Airpower.

2) The defender may not fire into the attacker's set up zone.

3) No preplanned bombardments for the Defender.

4) No King Tigers for the Germans.

Sometimes I let the attacker pick the time of day since they are the......attacker.

And obviously we would be honorable. For example, to leave Special rule number 2 (above) off and then saturation bombard the attacker's set up zone would be very bad.

Ok - can I suggest the following then.

CMRT--Map 35p

Iron Setting

Attack (Rooskies attacks German Army)
Large
1 Hour 30 minutes
Eastern Europe
Combat Force: Mix
Human Unit Purchase
Map Preview allowed
Day
Clear
Dry
Strict Rarity

Special Rules:

1) No Airpower.

2) The defender may not fire into the attacker's set up zone.

3) No preplanned bombardments and max 5TRP's for the Defender.

4) No TRP's for attacker but can preplan bombardments.

Looks good, but what Month and Year? And this is an attack and not a probe, correct?

Hi Buddy - June 1944

By attack I mean not a meeting engagement. My understanding is that anything greater than a probe creates too much of a points difference.

I am the dumb American. I will interpret that as English for "a Probe.";):D

I have a few family commitments today but will have set up completed this evening.

Regards

I think I managed to win a game against Wills. CMBN is like my golf - very inconsistent.....

I have one other game to complete then free for a game.

Fine business. Just contact me when you're ready and if I don't have too much on my plate, we will cross swords. I like playing tough opponents. Steel sharpens steel. ;-)

My current game completed quicker than anticipated if you fancy a new year clash......

Need something to work off those mince pies, turkey, beer, cheese, wine, more cheese........
