Arma 2 or 3?

Downloaded demos for Arma 2 and Arma 3. Can't get Arma 2 demo to run - some sort of file missing(??) and the Arma 3 demo seems to be merely a movie and non playable.

Are their any Arma 2 or 3 demos that are playable? Also, read discussion that some folks prefer Arma 2 over 3 even tho Arma 3 has better graphics Arma 2 has more content. Is that still true?

Am interested in the WW2 mods. So which game is recommended by you guys?

The Arma3 stuff sounds very interesting. I really don't have time to learn another game system so I am trying to resist this.................
 
Go for Arma 3. It's lots more polished, refined and has more features.
It's also far more relevant since majority of the playerbase and modders are on A3.

Arma 3 does look amazing. Is there a playable demo?

And MOS, yes, fer gawd's sake plz don't get distracted - we need more TOC like quality CM2 content! :)
 
Well, guys, I have pulled the trigger and obtained ARMA3 on Steam.
Subscribed to the following WW2 mods as well:
  • CBA_A3
  • CUP Terrains - Core
  • IFA3_AIO_LITE
  • WW2_OBJECTS
  • I44_Terrains
  • IFA3_Terrains_Lite
Now I just have to learn how to play the game. :shocknaz:
