Meh, second rate news from a second rate dev with a generous side helping of empty promises. Doubt any of the stuff mentioned will actually come out in 2019. Wake me up when they actually do something worthwhile, like fix their crappy game mechanics.

That's pretty harsh, but all opinions matter. ;-)

Like I've said on multiple occasions, I think it's past time that BFC reboots the CM series with a brand new game engine.

Besides the soldiers-who-run-while-in-cover problem (which was mentioned in their fixes), what things need to be fixed or need to be upgraded in their games?

@Concord I just think they have taken the current engine about as far as it can go. There is just no getting rid of the "action squares" and the unpredictability of LoS and spotting.

I doubt the engine could handle it but quartering each action square would be a good start. This would surely reduce some of the LOS and spotting issues. (Yeah, I can image all of the other issues it would cause).
