6.30 am here in Lake Louise and I am so lucky to be spending today in such beautiful surroundings with wife and friends.
Also reflecting on how healthy I am, and that I have been lucky in that respect.
Have led an active life and never smoked nor had more than the occasional drink.


Just thinking about how many different countries I have been in on birthdays:

Holland
Madeira

Italy





Can’t think of anymore at the moment but I have been a lucky boy that’s for sure.

Off for a hearty breakfast in an hour then out again to explore the great outdoors of this fabulous country.

Now sitting in Tim Hortons in Jasper having a coffee and doughnut.


Left Lake Louise this morning and had a glorious drive up the 93 for 250kms of the best scenery I have ever seen, and all in glorious sunshine too.
