Crusader Kings 2 Free to Play and new mode

If you've ever wanted to play this leviathan of a game it now free to play on steam (I think forever - though I may be wrong!) The DLC's still cost but its a good way to see if this is for you! Its not a game of many tactics more strategic thinking. Its fun and the stories that you characters make are worth the effort! For olds hands theres a new challenge mode, which I'm enjoying, called Monarch's Journey. This mode also unlocks cosmetic bonuses for the up-coming CK $ CK 3.

I just realised that it wasn't just free during a weekend, but permanently free... ok, they make money off DLC, but there's plenty to play without downloading any of that.
