It's taken me a while, RL getting in the way, but I finally got the 6th battle in the campaign into video. Onwards and upwards for the plucky Scots. I hope people enjoy.

This mission one went pretty quickly. It's the seventh mission so puts me halfway through. The standing at the moment is pretty positively towards a British victory, but I thin there's more to come. Plus in the final missions it changes to sudden death, I lose a mission and then lose the campaign.

I hope people enjoy. I'm currently at 191 subscribers, if yo like the video and haven't subscribed please do, I'd like to get to 200

I am really enjoying your campaign. I have subscribed to your channel.

I like the style of your video with your initial analysis up front. From an American perspective your use of OAKOC, Observation & Fields of Fire, Avenues of Approach, Key Terrain, Obstacles & Movement, Cover & Concealment. Your initial plan using your analysis.

Your use of periodic updates and how it affects your initial plan with your new plan using this periodic update.

The soldiers perspective for the video on how the plan unfolds in real time.

Your wrap up at the end that ties up your thoughts on how things went coupled with the casualty tally by unit.

A great way to do your after action review (AAR). First class.

I look forward to the rest of the campaign as well as any other AARs you do.

@fabishd, I'm glad you're enjoying it. 8th video is posted, battle at Garvus. It's not like a H2H battle but it's an interesting campaign, I'm pretty sure it won't be my last campaign video documentary.

Usually plays single player.
Yeah I remember that mission and thought it was a little odd. Germans having touch objectives to represent them threatening the town or some such. You could decimate the German force but still lose because they would be in a position to take the town? Maybe it was an attempt to get away from the standard 'Occupy' objectives.

Battle #9.... It's taken an age but I've got the video out. It's a bit longer than I prefer, 35 mins, but a lot happens. Not really a spoiler, the 'skewering' is in slow mow after the final credits...

I hope people enjoy and I'll get the next video out ASAP but it may take a little while. I'm replacing my computer, 6 years old now and something went pop with the power inside so the GC and processor are running at 60-70% speed :( Makes the video a little bit laggy in places but I didn't want to wait until I get the new PC to make the video, I'll never get it finished

Rough... for both sides.
It was indeed. Based upon the campaign brief I think it’s the last time I command the 2nd ASHR so I could take the casualty rate. Still not comfortable though.

I’m back with the 9th in the follow up battle and I have tank support :shootero:

This is a pivotal battle, #11. It's sudden death, if I lose this battle the campaign ends..... I hope you enjoy.

I have just found your youtube channel and have enjoyed your movies - well done sir.

Also noticed a Castle Doom vid - do you like your bikes?

@WinOrLose, thanks for the positive comment, glad you like the videos. Next battle is up today, #12, I hope people enjoy.

Yes, I am a bike fan. I own a couple one of which I race. The video isn't me at Castle Combe but I've raced there a few of times.

Scottish Corridor battle #12. The 9th continue the fight at Grainville-Sur-Odon and the SS.

Thank You @DoubleD

It's been fascinating to watch these AAR's and to listen to your commentary. Well done on a massive project covering the whole campaign - I can only imagine how long it took you, but I'm impressed.

Cool - I don't race but up to last year a lot of track days - Donni, Silverstone, Brands, Doom, Oulton park.

@WinOrLose some seriously nice kit, personally I find nothing beats Ohlins. Donnington is one of my favorite circuits, Hollywood, Craner and then throwing it into the hairpin, the exhilaration of trying to get it right

Donni for me too. I booked Hodgson for a day and managed to get low 1:40's hanging on for dear life (I was on the 1199R he was on a S1000R) and he spent half the lap with one hand on his hip looking over his shoulder!!!!

@WinOrLose, I've raced against some BSB guys, hard not to be jealous of the skills of the top riders. I'm 1:19's for Donnington on a Triumph 675, I had to think about the difference then I realised you're probably on the full international circuit including the Melbourne hairpin. My times are for the shorter national circuit.

Yes the full circuit. BSB guys (and girl) do around 1:30. It makes you wonder what the likes of Marquez and co are like!!!!
