[FILM] Fury

Yeah, I think that the idea is war is hell, it dehumanizes, if you are the rookie you get to shoot prisoners and oh yeah, screw the hot local and be a hero based on the humanity of your enemy, even though you just mowed down 150-200 of his buds. Doesn't that happen in real life? Nope, only in reel life apparently...

The King George VI inspecting the Panzer VI Tiger 1 N°131 after it was knocked out and captured by the 48th Royal Tank Regiment during the ‘Battle of Longstop Hill’ Tunisia on 21st April 1943. Note the badge of the British First Army has been painted onto the front of the Tiger. Its the same tank that appeared in this movie.

Tiger 131 was the first intact Tiger tank captured by the British forces. In Dec. 2003, Tiger 131 was finally displayed with a working engine at the Bovington Museum, UK. Further work and repainting in period colours completed the restoration in 2012, for a total cost quoted at £80,000.

Fury the movie may had problems with it, but I enjoy watching it.
