Finland during World War Two

From start to Finnish: Extensive collection of photographs capture the THREE conflicts fought by Finland during World War Two

At the time the swastika was used as the official national marking of the Finnish Air Force and Tank Corps between 1918 and 1945.
Be it soldiers on the front lines or civilians making supplies on the home front, the archive is packed with a visual history of a country fighting for its independence.
