German SD2 bomblet from WWII

Yesterday they had to defuse a German SD 2 bomblet from WWII here in Switzerland.

Which is really strange, as Switzerland wasnt bombed by the Germans.... The police refuses to tell were it was found and who brought it to attention.

The picture was taken befor the bomb defuse robot destroyed it.



EDIT: with bombed I ment compared to the other countries in WWII

According to the newspapers, the bomblet was brought to a police station a while back. They didnt know / recognice what it is.

If its true, they were planing to bring it to a recycling center when one of the workes noticed that its a live bomb .
