Hello!

I just found out about this community while commenting on YouTube videos. I played the Original Combat Mission (CM: Beyond Overlord) on my iMac (with a DVD player!!) back when it came out. As a sixth grader and an avid WWII buff I thought it was the greatest thing ever. I played some of CM2 but missed out on Afrika Corps and came back for Shock Force. I was a little disappointed with that title, however. I recently picked up Black Sea, enjoyed the American campaign, and I've really been hoping to find someone who wants to try out the multiplayer. Apparently, CM is really a niche audience - so it's great to have found this community!

When you are ready for H2H play, consider using CMHelper to manage your matches.
Then, post your first request for a match either here or at the forum for the game(s) you own.

Wow! Thank for the kind words. I'm surprised by how active these forums are. I'm a regular to Eugen's "Wargame" series and the community there, while entertaining, makes me feel like I'm swimming in a molten pool of radiant toxicity.
I've downloaded CMHelper and am already making plans to start a new game today. You guys are fantastic. I look forward to meeting you on the virtual battlefield!

Unfortunately this place is much nicer - on the surface, beware sharks circle in the depths searching for the scent of blood :eek: - I like it as a relaxing place to sit and watch the scenary (between Zinzan's blood curdling charges into the abyss that is the rest of the internet :cool:.)
