Thank you for allowing me to join the forums. I started miniature and board wargaming in 1972 at the age of 11, spent many happy years on SPI, Avalon Hill, Victory Games and Wargames Research Group Ancients, WW2 and Modern Armour rules. Then came marriage and children my trusty musket was packed away and now almost 50 years of on and off absence and the last 6 of ill health and a bitter divorce I'm now a retiree and taking some tentative steps back into the world of gaming and simulation. I did play the original Combat Mission games briefly when they first came out as well as John Tillers Battleground and Campaign series. Now I'm hoping to build some new gaming friendships and spend some retirement cash on a new PC etc. Been watching a lot of AAR's on YouTube so now getting my feet wet again. Thanks again.

Greetings, @simmybear! You should soon receive @Hedgehog's Welcome Wagon hand-outs! They make good reading.

When you are ready for H2H play, consider using CMHelper to manage your matches.
Then, post your first request for a match either here or at the forum for the game(s) you own.

Welcome to The Few Good Men; the best place to war-game since SPI sold out to TSR . . . :whistleo:
Good luck and good gaming! Have fun.
