I'm a new member to this forum. A history nerd. Member of Swedish Renactmeent of Great Northern War, Kongelige Elfsborghs Regementes Caroliner KERC. Painting realistic oilpaintings of historical things and a WWII nerd. :)

Why I joined is because I seek a GM (Game master) for a JTPC (John Tiller Panzer Campagin) with CMFB(Combat Mission), CMFI or CMBN campaign. We need someone that wants to help us here. Anyone?

Hi Spjut.

I hadn't read about the Great Northern War before.
Charles XII of Sweden sounds like an interesting character.
King at 14, and then after many campaigns, killed at the age of 36 by a shot to the temple while inspecting trench lines at the Siege of Fredriksten.
From what I read, it was possibly grapeshot from the fort that got him. All 40,000 of his men immediately packed up and left. King dead - game over?

When you say reenactment, do you mean costumes and swords and black powder muskets and cannons? It would be interesting to see a photo.

A well we are located in Gothenburg Garnision, actually a part of Swedish armed forces, the West Swedish Military Heritage. We are invited to historical events and happenings. This spring/summer we plan to do a trip to Germany to the old Swedish areas.
