Hi Everybody

I have been a wargamer since my early teens, and I still have all of my SPI etc wargames (Panzer '44 as an example.....anyone remember that one?). I own all of the WW2 Combat Mission games, and they are all up to date with the latest versions and engines. I also have quite a lot of the gamers mods, which add that extra bit of chrome to the game. I really enjoy playing the game set to Iron difficulty and I thought it was about time I put my tactical skills (or maybe lack of) to the test against a human competitor

Looking forward to meeting you across a virtual battle map at some point soon

New blood is always welcome, (sharks are circling already), in this hobby of ours. Nice to see someone who still has their SPI Boardgames rare things nowadays (Zinzan lost ALL his GDW boargames and numerous others in a couple of moves in the early 90's - :()

Enjoy this place, many people will welcome you and help when necessary. It's a cool place.

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played head to head (H2H). ;)

Sorry for late welcoming! It wasn't too long since I joined myself, hope you like it here, been playing some PBEM matches already and the challenge is amazing. Welcome and good luck!

Thanks for the warm welcomes. Looking forward to this new "dimension" of CM. I think the AI does a pretty good job, but nothing can replace the whims and vagiaries of the human brain
