Welcome to The Few Good Men

Thanks for visiting our club and having a look around, there is a lot to see. Why not consider becoming a member?

'Front and centre 2Dog!'

I'm old and grumpy, with a strange sense of humour, although I have been caught smiling at least twice. I know. I'm also relatively new to CM, only ever played against the computer, but would like to start playing PBEM games. I've currently got CMRT, CMBS, and I'll be getting CMBN this Tuesday (can't wait).
Hopefully see you all on the field.

'See 2Dog march off to the parade square for this mornings inspection.'

All the best,
2Dog

Thanks guys, appreciated.
Was also wondering how I start my first PBEM game please? I've got Dropbox and CM Helper etc. but I'm not sure where I should post for an opponent.
Thanks again.

Thanks Hedgehog and mTk, sorted!

Quick and final question - I'm going to get CMBN this Tuesday but I don't know whether or not to get the base game to begin with and then buy all the battle packs etc. separately, as and when, or instead get the complete CMBN Big Bundle which has everything? The reason I ask is because I'm not sure if I'll be able to play someone who only has the base game when I'm using the CMBN Big Bundle.

Best go for the Bundle mate.....Nearly all the blokes put on the upgrades and patches, you are more likely to be left behind if you don't get the lot

Greetings @2Dog . I see you've already received @Hedgehog's Welcome Wagon hand-outs!. When ready for H2H:
  1. Set up a personal account at Dropbox and install CMHelper.
  2. Check out CMHelper explanatory video at http://www.thefewgoodmen.com/thefgmforum/threads/how-to-cm-helper-and-dropbox.25557/
  3. Download and install CMHelper from http://gregories.net/CMHelper/User Manual/CMHelper.html?GettingStarted.html.
  4. Then, post your first request for a match either here or at the forum for the game(s) you own.
Good luck and good gaming! Have fun.
