I'm a concept artist at bioware https://www.artstation.com/artist/casper_konefal there is a link to my small art page if your interested.:)

So you are a concept artist at Bioware, which happens to be the developer of two of my favorite games ever, namely Baldur's Gate 1 & 2? The same Bioware that I wrote a gushing, fanboi e-mail to when I completed BG2 and, in return, they sent me a coffee mug and a ski cap with an embroidered Bioware logo, both of which I still use?

Nice!

thanks everyone. I just had a question about tournaments, do they happen a lot and how to i join one.?

Greetings,

you seem to be the kinda guy that might fit in well here (Hell we have low standards they let me hang around).

Enjoy the place - chat, fight, browse, (fall in love, kill, maim, sculpt ...... errmmmm I'm just going to lay down now o_O )

@casper Tournaments start fairly often, several per year. You just have to watch the forums, as signups are usually limited and it's first come, first served. The only one currently ongoing that you can still join is the Quick & the Dead tourney, which is a "king of the hill" type tourney which features small armor only battles that are over in 15 minutes. As long as you keep winning, you remain the champion.

There are also campaigns, which are different from tourneys. You join the Axis or Allied teams. The campaigns feature large scale maps with strategic goals, and the battles are fought using combat mission, with movement and reinforcements between the battles. Sometimes the battles are very lopsided and your best option is to give up ground to preserve your forces. These battles are generally not reported on the ladder.
