I'd never heard of this ship sinking. I have no idea how that could have happened given my interest in the subject.
I mean, the loss of life was as great as the Titanic!
Anyway, this documentary is very good and the investigators actually seem to have determined what actually happened. Very satisfying.

Good thread, I did not know about this boat either.
And not understanding what the video said I had to find a bit of its tragedy in spanish sites.
I read that his story was not well known because it was overshadowed by the beginning of the war.
