Hi all,

Been a fan of the Combat Mission series since Beyond Overlord. I have BN and all modules (looking to move into FI eventually but just so much content and so little time). I have about exhausted all the Battlefront supplied content except for the recently purchased Battle Pack 1 and I feel it is time to up my chops and start playing against people .

I was also in an Arma 3 realism unit for a few years but the time commitment was a little much and it started conflicting with other priorities.

My primary gaming rotation list is CM:BN, and EUIV with a little bit of Arma3.
 
Welcome, and feel free to check out our Arma 3 sessions on Sundays around 1300 UTC. They last for about two hours or so. Keep an eye on the Arma 3 forum for when the next session is. We're definitely not a realism unit by any means. Low pressure and good fun.

Good to see you've jumped right in! That's the attitude that'll get you places (Dark, muddy & slimy places or possibly bright, shiny cold places are all possible: Good Luck :) )

I will try to join up for some ops from time to time. The time should work well because I usually like to hang around the house and be unproductive on Sundays (except for waging digital wars and the such), and I am a morning person.

I have been getting familiar with the Houston area and usually end up traveling down every few weeks for work. Not sure who has worse traffic, Dallas or Houston.
 
Welcome, I'm new to FGM myself, so far its been good. People are friendly and post thought out comments. Haven't seen any flame wars. A good bunch.
 
@Swank - Yeah, it's a toss up as to who has worse traffic for sure. All I know is I loathe traffic with a passion. Everyday is a fight to stay alive :D. Good deal man, look forward to you joining in on some Arma!

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played head to head (H2H)
- as you already know. ;)
