Strategic Command: WWII World At War

"It's pretty enjoyable, I agree -- just gets a bit big and time consuming watching enemy turn replays once the campaig gets bigger as Barbarossa kicks off." (Rico)

Yep... forgot about that... first 5 moves are quick... then you could be looking at a good hour to get through a single move.

Gone and bought anyway... can be fun playing through the long nights...

Is the European/North African part of the game exactly the same as SC:War in Europe? In that case I think this should be available as an add-on to that game. Would like to get it, but not as another full price game.

Greetings,

Two sites I use for groggy news for more info..

Wargamer site review

Real and Simulated Wars Blog notice

I've played it's predecesser a bit, liked; but it's very big (and a time sink) - OTOH this looks interesting as it seems better graphically and you can play just 1 of the major powers and let the AI control the rest ... interesting.

I'll probably not get yet, but it looks interesting (Too many games, not enough time and I'm still drooling at Operational Art of War IV)
