.......great film, and you have just reminded me that I am going out on the bike to the locations where this was filmed as it's not too far from where I live.....
The majority of the film, set in the fictional village of StudleyConstable, was filmed at Mapledurham on the A329 in Oxfordshireand features the village church, Mapledurham Watermill andMapledurham House, which represented the manor house where Winston Churchill was taken.
