Completely agree. Dump the penny. In fact, I think we should get rid of nickels and dimes also. The smallest denomination legal tender should be a quarter, IMO.

Back on the subject, there is a local restaurant that does deliveries. The driver doesn't carry any coins, only paper money. If you don't have the exact amount, he will give you your change back to the nearest dollar, in your favor.

Hah, it's because, (unlike you bunch of barbarians,) we have free speech over here. Which means that we can say what we think about the government without fear or favour, but Gawd forbid we watch a commercial programme without the right permissions or paying the right royalties. Companies have rights you know, not humans!
