Here are some of the tunes we listened to on AFVN radio during my Tour of Duty.

Starting with a taste of the real thing!

Eric Burden & the Animals-We Gotta Get Outta This Place
Of all the music played during my tour, this song would be the theme song...

If you'd rather not dink around with having to play these separately, here is a link to my 'Soundtrack' playlist on YouTube. Just hit 'Play All', kick back and listen. (currently more than 2 hrs of music)...

The Marmalade-Reflections of my Life

The pic at 4:11 is as close to what I experience at the wall as a human can paint, and from the very first time I ever saw it, my heart swells and my eyes fill with tears.

While this vid is not from Vietnam, the sounds of the CH-46 are part of my soundtrack. And just think, since I was the last one to leave the LZ whenever we lifted out as a unit, I always had to sit in the back, right under the engines. No, we didn't carry ear protection in a combat zone. And the VA refuses to accept my Tinnitus as service connected...bastards!
