First result in: YELLOW Empire captures MAURETANIA and thereby the BLUE Empire's capital with a 49 - 24 = +25% Major Victory.

@Nelson1812 split his force, moving his infantry into the hilly, rough ground, leaving his Roman cavalry isolated -- my all-cavalry Vandal army swung right and pounced! ... and that was enough to carpe the diem.

I'll update all the battle listings etc this evening or on the weekend.

@Rico, the Red Empire prevails in Italia, 59-27. @Nelson1812, thanks for a game well contested. I was a little worried about your artillery and your tanks, er, elephants. My veteran legions held their ground, then carried the day.

RED Empire conquers ITALIA WITH +32% Major Victory -- moving them into 2nd spot on 7 points.

The battle for CARTHAGE rages on -- a very close, bloody Roman vs Roman affair.

@Wellsonian @Badger73 @Nathangun -- how go the battles for ASIA and BOSPORUS?
