For myself, I am giving a go at Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages this time after throwing the dice in Classical Antiquity for Season 9. I had a hard time determining which four (4) army lists to select as league winners. I finally decided to stop overthinking things and just pick armies I would enjoy playing whether I win or lose. I'll post those choices on the DL forums next week. I hope to see a lot of The Few Good Men on those battlefields!

I'm going to have a go at the Early Middle Ages. I assume that's the Wolves at the Gate dlc?

Note: the armies in bold text are from those nations that have an exemption from the “one army per nation in each division” rule and they will be allowed two armies in any division. They are the Arab group of armies and the Byzantines. You may only pick one army from either of these 2 groups.

Never played it but out of interest, what version of the game and extra content would I have to buy?

Since you are new to the digital league, you will most likely get your first choice. So shield wall up and get that flank with your lancers! And you and I will be in the scrub league (Division F). It is the fun league :)
