Many, many years ago I used to like such games as R-Type, Xenon Megablast and any other number of sideways scrolling spacecraft type shoot 'em ups so grasping for nostalgia I parted cash and ended up with this. 1993 Space Machine. Now this game looks old and rightly it should... it was after all designed in 1993 for the Amiga but was abandoned and never released. Its name back then was going to be Shenandoah: Daughter of the Stars. For whatever reason it did not get released until 2016. The game looks and feels like the classics of the day but she has not aged well. I played for a grand total of 10 minutes before my rose tinted spectacles fell of and smashed on the floor... did I really like this type of game!! Any other guys here have bad experience of going back and playing games that once brought you great enjoyment but sadly dont live up to expectations?
