With our deployment to Takistan finished there is no story mission this week. I'm still working on the next operation so for the next few weeks we can run some stuff that Rambler posted. I like the look of the two below to kick off, some simple stuff.

Since we seem to be using a lot of the CAF aggressors as OPFOR, could we in future include Toadie's AK-pack?

There is under optional downloads the CAF Aggressors AK replacer, which can be used in conjuction with these two mods to replace the frankly horrible CAF small arms with Toadie's AK's.
Those other weapon packs by Toadie are also of great quality and all feature nice custom animations(G3 even has the famous "HK slap").

And could we also include the Shacktac stamina bar in the future?

OK, I've had a play around with the Toadie's packs and put the M14, AR15 and the M60E4 into the NATO loadouts for shits and giggles. The Mod list has changed, as above, for both missions.
 
I'll be there, and those missions sound good to me.

+1 to Vart's suggestion of using Toadie's weapons. They're outstanding.

As far as other mod suggestions, perhaps we should look into replacing A3MP with this: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=26682 It seems like a more comprehensive fix and implementation of the old maps. There are some bugs with the pack that have been noted in the release thread at BIS's forums, so it might be best to wait a bit before using it. I also think it'd be fun to fly CAS with the F/A-18E: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=22594
 
I have planned to switch to AiA for the extra maps but also its being actively supported at the moment, A3MP doesn't seem to be and creates a lot of server errors. I'm also liking http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=24455, N'Ziwasogo. You can probably guess where the deployment will be.

I like toadies weapons but it's missing some modern western 7.62 stuff like the HK417 and the SCAR H. Would be nice if he made that. Also, the opposition I'm using is http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?160607-African-conflict-a3 which makes use of the NATO weapons pack so unless toadie does a adaption for that we might be stuck.

Let's see what the coming weeks bring.​
 
What were everyone's thoughts on the Firefight! missions? Keepers or Deleters? Personally, I found them enjoyable and perfect for our group size, other than revive not working. I did like the added challenge to the mission no revive brought, though.
 
To be honest both missions were badly bugged. I only changed the load outs and didn't check them before Sunday. In the parameters we were supposed to be able to adjust the opposing forces but it did nothing. I had to spawn in most of the enemy using MCC, the origional only had 2 enemy soliders and the 1 vehicle. The revive didn't work either, which was dissapointing. It is tough to get a revive script working, but if it doesn't I wouldn't put the mission on steam. Maybe it was becuase I was running on a dedicated server setup, so could be me.

All in all, nice find Rambler but the execution of the mission needed a bit of tweaking by me in game. I liked the mission idea and the no spawn.
