All the equipment in the world won't mean anything if manpower is not up to par. This war needs more numbers against these guys, especially in Afghanistan. At least 1-2million combat troops and the proper equipment, you'll see that place cleared out fast. Unfortunately half the region is still contested or not even touched by conventional forces. The amount of drug production, trade, routing[shipment] and the topography of the land being so varied, the region needs more troops...Especially against ghosts.
