My mirror attack didn't go as smootly. I tried to break through on left flank right off the bat, but got pinned down after crossing the river.

You can tell the attack didn't go as planned , the mortar platoons were leading the final charge to obj3

He looks as if he's inside. If so, the back blast freaked him out as using RPG's inside pins your pixel troops. I guess his motivation was low before the event.
