My newest favorite game. Kind of an updated / improved version of Patton's Best, if you're familiar with that old AH game. Not intended to be a highly detailed and accurate armored combat game, instead it's a career game where you try to stay alive and get better over the course of the war. 8 missions per month. You may skip a mission here or there, and you may spend time in the hospital if you suffer a serious wound. On the plus side, once you have the rules and the sequence of play down you can knock out a mission in 10 minutes, meaning you could play a month of your career in 90 minutes. On the negative side, the rulebook was not quite ready for prime time when the game was published, so there's a ton of errata and a lot of Q&A on BGG about how certain rules are supposed to work. The game should easily lend itself to expansions like East Front Tank Ace or British Tank Ace or etc.
