Are CM:SF Quick Battles Playable?

We can all agree that CM:SF QB is "poor", "crap", "sucks" in compare with CM:BN, and BF patches in future won't incorporate this "Cherry pick" feature in Shock Force. So that's not for discussion.

But, it's hard to me to just throw away this QB option from my playing agenda.
So, what is your idea, is there any way to make it playable and enjoyable.
I was thinking of some kind confronting Blue sides each-other, or Red sides, lowering for example -20% for US or British, or lowering experience level for blue, and increasing experience for red.

Do you have some ideas for that?

I wish I had a good answer for this. I'll be interested to hear other's responses.

I started looking into assigning point values for CMSF and CMA similar to CMBN QB's. I was going to use the Steel Panthers Main Battle Tank game as a jumping point. Lots of time went into that game and I figured their point system should be pretty accurate. Not sure how the units match up with the CMSF ones but they should be pretty close. Once the point system is figured out it is just a matter of picking your units and having a third party set up the battle with a random map. What do you guys think?

So did you found out anything? Can you give us some examples?

I've looked on SPMBT a bit, so here is some prices:
UK
Challenger 2 532 (I don't know how much is expirience variable, but I'll say +5% so crack would be +10% - 585)
Scimitar mk2 292
UK Rifle Section 8 men 43

Syria
T-72AV 299
BMP2 175
SA Infantry section 9 men 20

Damn, there are a lots of units, BF could do that and spare us from this :)
So, 3 Challenger tanks and 3 T72 are not same, isn't it Bootie ;)

Adding units through Editor sounds great to me, but... but...
There is lot of work to do.
After thinking about solutions, I found out few thins. First of all, I tried to purchase units on WinSPMBT and then those units put in CMSF, but there is lot's of differences. Lots of units there are not counted here and vice versa.
So, doing anything about that kind of QB needs few steps:

1. Get list of Units in CMSF
2. Give every unit, section, platoon, batallion numerical value
3. Make some kind of spread-sheet or application for buying those units
4. Input those purchased units into Editor (preferable third party side)
5. Play enjoying QB purchase system on CMSF.

Well, that looks pretty ... hard at least.

Firstly, I managed to extract 1st US Army battalion in CMSF, and it is like that:

- 1st Battalion (Infantry)
Headquarters Team
Operations Team
Fire Support Team
JTAC Team
Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee)
Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee)
Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee)
Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee)
• Scout Platoon
Headquarters Team
1st Reconnaissance Vehicle (M707 Humvee)
2nd Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee (M2))
3rd Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee (M2))
4th Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee (M2))
5th Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee (M2))
6th Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee (M2))
7th Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee (M2))
8th Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee (M2))
• A Company (Rifle)
Headquarters Team
XO Team
Fire Support Team
Sniper Team
Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee)
1st Platoon (Assault)
Headquarters Team
1st Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee (M240B))
2nd Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee (Mk19))
3rd Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee (M2))
4th ATOM Vehicle (M1046 Humvee)
5th ATOM Vehicle (M1046 Humvee)
2nd Platoon (Rifle)
Headquarters Team
1st Squad (Rifle)
2nd Squad (Rifle)
3rd Squad (Rifle)
4th Squad (Weapons)
5th Team (Javelin)
3rd Platoon (Rifle)
4th Platoon (Rifle)
2 x 60mm Mortar (M224)
• B Company (Rifle)
• C Company (Rifle)
• D Company (Weapons)
Headquarters Team
Multipurpose Vehicle (M1114 Humvee)
1st Platoon (Assault)
• Heavy Mortar Section
2 x 120mm Mortar (M120
2 x 120mm Mortar (M120)

So, that 1st step isn't so hard, but 2nd is devastating, how to value infantry, armor, arty units.
I was thinking about starting from bottom.
Infantry:
Rifle 1p
LMG 2p
Sniper 3p
Long range granades 4p
AT 5p
Binoculars 5p
Night vision 5p
Smoke 3p
Leader team 5p
Armor would depend on weapons used, armor, and other factors
Expirience of units would increase or decrease 10%

Well, that's some of thoughts, but implementation of this is far, far away...
