I've never participated in something like this @Rico and I have some questions.

So obviously since I'm on the Eastern (southern) Front, I've downloaded the CMRT map, which is a probe.
Are all 4 Eastern Front areas using the same QB map?
What determines the side (Allied/Axis) a person does? Did I read somewhere that we swap sides at some point?

Thanks.

Yes, all battles on same front use the same QB map every trun.

Every round you fight two battles -- one as Russian ALLIED in your sector against one of your fellow participants randomly drawn as Axis defender.

The other you are randomly drawn as an AXIS opponent to one of the other fronts. (to try and slow down your rivals progress)

Your two battles are (first as Allies and second as Axis)

SOUTHERN FRONT
JASSY - @Concord vs @Paleolithic Monk

BRITISH 8th ARMY
TARANTO - @Stafford vs @Concord

Oh is every even round an axis counter attack?

Battles alternate between Probes and ME battles.

Each round, (from round 2 onwards) the leading track or ONE of the tracks which has advanced furthest is randomly drawn to be the target of an AXIS counter-attack (which if the result is a Axis Tac Victory or higher results in that that track being bumped on space backwards.

No track can be counter-attacked in two consecutive turns.

Oops I did read that but forgot - thanks for being patient with a dope :)

@Nort, I think I've done something wrong. I have a preselected force on my turn, no force selection options. Did you get to choose your force?

EDIT: Ahh, my bad, just realised I started this as a battle, not a QB map selection for force selection. Really sorry, need to start again.

@Nort , really sorry to waste your time, real dumb of me. I've sent the corrected battle file and named it Nort v DD instead of DD v Nort.
