G. Prien was a German U-boat commander during World War II. He was the first U-boat commander to receive the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and the first member of the Kriegsmarine to receive the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves of Nazi Germany.

Didn’t Prien penetrate Scapa Flow and sink HMS Royal Oak? Big big balls of steel there.
Yes, he managed to pass through a narrow passage the british thought it was impossible to use, after that, the british sunk some more ships there, National Geographic Hell Under the Sea is a must watch
