Draw/View Distance

Hi all,

Is there any way to increase the view/draw distance in the CM games? I've messed around with the settings in the game but it seems really limited. Would really appreciate any help.

No. Unfortunately there is no way to do that. It's one of the many problems caused by the old game tech they are using.

You gain some extra view distance by increasing game detail level, but after "improved" or "better" it doesn't increase much. The reason is that as you increase detail, the inefficient old game engine starts to choke your computer, decreasing performance, and the engine then automatically scales back view distance to compensate.
