We played a mission made by DoubleD. Infiltrate the hostile area, kill a enemy general and bug out.
Participants were Me, DoubleD, Septic Limb, Ithikial, Bootie, Boomkow, Nelson, Nathangun and Rambler.
We begin by busting out the crayons and doodling on the map

Once everyone has gathered on the shore, DoubleD Splits us into two teams; Red and Blue. Red team takes point as we begin our journey to castle ruins overlooking a town where our target is.
Here is Blue team, DoubleD, Ithikial, Septic Limb and me. Or as I like to call it Team Ultimate Badasses.
We pretty soon come across a four man patrol. They are easily dispatched and Septic steals a LMG from them. And promptly procees to blow his load all over it.
There's the castle
At the foot of the hill where the castle is, we come arcross another patrol. It's a bit larger than the first one. This patrol is also taken out fairly quickly but both Boomkow and I get shot.
After taking care of our wounds we go to sweep the castle. It's fairly lightly defended and only a .50 cal MG causes some consern.
Too bad those mortars don't have ammo, they would have been useful.
Blue team watches the town for the VIP we're supposed to kill, while Red team take's up positions to defend a road leading up to the castle.
Here the bug fest begins.
Boomkow loses the connection and drops out of the game and so does Rambler little later(At least Rambler was able to rejoin at later point, don't remember about Boomkow). I start to suffer from serious lag, people and vehicles move in weird ways and teleport around. And to top this off our clothes and most of our equipment just dissapper (though I seem to magically get more medkits and first-aid kits even though my pack is full). Only Ithikial is free of this curse.
An Ifrit and a BTR drive to the town but rest of the convoy and our target seem to be stuck on a traffic jam on their way to the village. Someone also spots us and takes potshots at us. The BTR moves to investigate but someone on Red team destroys it. The BTR actually explodes so close to Red team that some of them are wounded.
Eventually the rest of the convoy get's to the town but we can't find the target among all the people there. DoubleD calls in a firemission which kills decent amount of infantry and take's out some vehicles but the target survives.
After that we just start shooting anything in the town that moves and eventually someone kills the guy we are after.
Here is an Ifrit which is on a weird angle because of the lagginess. Also it's textures didn't load properly.
As we are leaving CSAT reinforcements show up, but too late for them.
On the way to extraction, the dissappearing equipment bug stikes again. This time though it happens right after a firefight, which means that many of us are left with only a partial magazine that was already loaded to a gun.
Again Ithikial is spared. Do you have somekind of a pact with the Arma gods so you are spared from the bugs?
The original extraction point is a no-go since there is two AA-tanks sitting there. We divert to a secondary extraction further away.
Along the way we manage to take out a small enemy camp and get much needed resupply from the dead CSAT.
There are few guards at the secondary extraction but those guys are a pushover.
And so we fly into the proverbial sunset.
