@chiquichops @kronenblatt @Cargol @Nathangun
So I recently re-watched the Little Wars TV guys' Return To Magna Graecia series -- and it's one of the best interactive campaign series ever -- it's brilliant.
We successfully played a version of it adapted by @kronenblatt using FOG II Ancients to fight the battles -- great FOW and some good fights.
Over last couple of weeks I've been toying with adapting those rules to fight a big, six-player interactive campaign covering the Roman Civil war between the Caesar and Pompey and their followers.
Two teams of three players each -- each player in control of a theatre of the conflict -- Spain, North Africa, Greece and/or Egypt/Greece, raising their own armies & navies, fighting their own battles -- with co-ordination/discussion amongst each team -- we could use DM's here or something like Discord.
Caesar and Pompey could pull rank if players want to role play it.
I would GM it and there's be a high level of fog of war and hidden information -- played at a not too quick, but steady pace.
Map (still early work in progress -- see below) is based on the 2010 Julius Caesar block wargame from Columbia Games.
@kronenblatt -- would there be any players from Slitherine boards we could invite to participate?
