Managed to beat the mongols in my division though. Quite happy about that. They use the trebuchet to loosen up a turtling opponent so you have to attack them to avoid being fragmented into nothingness.
@Wellsonian , I didn't get to say good game. The terrain in that one was to my advantage. Good luck with the rest of the tournament.

I'm still wrapping up my final games for Season 10. Ironically, the army I favor (Palmyran 258-273 AD) has performed much worse in Late Antiquity (2-5-1) than an army I picked at random (French 888-1049 AD with Viking 900-1049 AD allies) in Early Middle Ages (4-4). My goal was to raise my DL rating from 1.11 to 2.0 or better. I doubt I'll achieve that this season. I really enjoy playing though.
