Hi gamers,

First time on the FGM forum (I think), but I've been a CM player (and sometimes BFC beta-tester) since 1999.

I'm back after a few years off and itch'n to get in some PBEM games.

One thing I'd like to do is play a series of battles simulating the Cdn Southern Alberta Rgmt's (29th Armoured Recon) drive across Europe. I'll play the Cdn's and will likely pick some maps that closely mirror the historical engagement. I'd like to discuss OpFor details and make-up prior to each battle.

The unit started out fairly green after D-Day, participated in battles including Totalize, closing of the Falaise pocket, first allied unit into Holland, and through to Germany at wars end. Sometimes they were successful, other times they got a drubbing.

I know there are already some scenarios already written (and one I helped source) that I'd be happy to play.

talk to soon,
Gpig
