After struggling to decide what modern combat mission game I wanted to buy I eventually ended up getting both CMBS and CBSF2, adding on top of my original Red Thunder. I decided it was about time to start looking for opponents rather than just combating the AI. I am the kind of player that enjoys playing the red side in the modern titles and either Soviet or German in the ww2 titles. At one point i want to try to make a red thunder campaign set during the liberation of northern Norway by the soviets, based on the book Skjebnehøst (Faitfull fall) by Alf R. Jacobsen, probably when the Fire and Rubble is released for the winter assets.
Liberation of Finnmark
Besides playing the CM games I enjoy flight sims like DCS and IL-2. In DCS I’m a rotor head mostly flying helicopters but looking to learn the MIG-21 eventually. In IL-2 I mostly light bombers and CAS.
