The battle for Herrlisheim took place in January 17th, 1945 at operation Nordwind. CCB of the US 12th armored division attacked Herrlisheim, in the attack the commander of 1\SS Panzer regiment 10, ordered his panthers to help out the fighting in the town... from then on I will leave these 2 videos to explain the rest:
