JFK Assassination..

I don't know if we'll ever know the truth in my lifetime, as the records were sealed for a minimum of 75 years, virtually guaranteeing that I won't be around to see them.
I do find it interesting that some of the very same men as were found to have been involved in the Watergate scandal ( all with CIA connections), were present in Dallas on that very day in November. And if there's any truth to the story, some were in Dealy Plaza itself. But then again, such facts are the fodder upon which conspiracies are born.

If all is so clear why the records are sealed? It´s in every case a political thing. Even if the mob should be involved. Who can seal such info? And to whom that people has connections? And if I remind me right to Kennedy´s time mob, politics and economy bosses were amalgamated. And wasn´t short before the frowned upon decision to retreat the missiles from Turkey? So the hardliners (the hawks) were a bit pissed. Bay of Pigs could be a further reason, maybe? All in all Kennedy was problematic to handle for the old-established mighty. And Robert Kennedy was murdered too. Should one give to think. But I had to deeper into it again. So I could be wrong or mix up something. I´m with the conspiracy. All other is very much more unlikely.
Maybe we open a own thread for that topic? I would be a regular reader, I think.

Heard the other day someone telling that he didn't think it was a conspiracy. Just a "lone wolf"who had a hatred for the US because he felt he was badly treated and was at the "right" place at the "right" time.
Just a few days before the murder it was revealed that Kennedy would travel to Dallas and even days after that the route was made public. So very little time to plot an professional attempt. So Oswald was "lucky" he worked where he did.

Let's not forget he was not all that keen about our involvement in Vietnam either, which made some unhappy. So yes, there was a faction in the US that thought him weak. It has been my experience that there is little that the 'Chicken Hawks' of America wouldn't ascribe to, in order to have their way in international relations. Lies and deceit being two of their most pronounced tools.

There is anecdotal evidence that Jack Ruby knew Oswald.

Hasn't Woody Harrelson's dad, who I understand is/was a professional hitman, been implicated as being the gunman on the grassy knoll, behind the fence?
 
Wasn't there audio files found of Kennedy a couple of weeks before the assassination wanting to pull US 'Advisers' out of Vietnam, saying he didn't want America caught up in a civil war? Believe the military and intelligence services weren't to fond of a pull out.

Besides Red Dwarf solved this yonks ago...
