Just this week we saw a film about the German bombing of London, the misadventures of a child returning home and the experiences of the English in coping with those moments. And believe me, I even thought of you at one point because as a child - as you have mentioned here - you had to live through that ordeal.
I recommend that you watch it if you can.
(Something I learned: I didn't know that children were evacuated to the camps to keep them away from danger.)
