I moved to LB well after the WW2 spent the war years in London Dodging the Blitz and sleeping in the Anderson shelter, thought this was good info about Leighton Bubbard
Just this week we saw a film about the German bombing of London, the misadventures of a child returning home and the experiences of the English in coping with those moments. And believe me, I even thought of you at one point because as a child - as you have mentioned here - you had to live through that ordeal.
I recommend that you watch it if you can.
(Something I learned: I didn't know that children were evacuated to the camps to keep them away from danger.)
