Lier Lier, pants on fire....

Few questions:
  • were the insurers forced by the Obama administration to discontinue some of their insurancepolicy's or was it their own decision?
  • How trustworthy is Michelle Malkin? For all I know she often writes against Obama (reading some of the comments below her article seem to indicate this. A lot of hateful comments BTW. Hope for the sake of the US these people are a minority.)
  • what is "lier"? :D

And of course Obama is a liar too. Ever met a politician who isn't?

Like Churchill once said: "there are no allies, only circumstances". Cynical man btw.

Consider this: how flawed this healthcare act may be, could it be it is better for the population/country as a whole then the current situation?

And yet the Republicans are evil for opposing the "plan".

I certainly do not consider the Republicans evil for their opposition, after all, it is the loyal opposition that gives us the middle ground which so many Americans value. I would point out that there is no option being brought forth by the loyal opposition, to address the health care issues we currently face. Currently the yearly increases in healthcare costs are far outstripping the average rate of inflation, with no significant improvement in healthcare results. Add to that the stress on hospitals to provide care for those who cannot pay their bills, and it is no wonder an aspirin administered in a hospital can run you more than $8.00.

Once again I will recognize the flaws in the new law, and advocate for a coming together of Americas public servants, our legislature, to abandon factional allegiances and solve the problem. Failure to do so, is a dis-service to the country they supposedly serve. So enough rhetoric, get to work.

1. The new law has minimum requirements (for one example: The policy must provide for maternity care. Even for men it seems....http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Govern...belius-Why-Does-a-Man-Need-Maternity-Coverage) that is causing insurance companies to drop them and force them to pick up Obama care at higher costs. That's one of the reasons it's an economy killer.
2. She's more trustworthy than most Liberal commentators. But that's not saying much. But I couldn't find anything untrue in her real life experience of having her healthcare canceled.
She didn't make the hateful comments. And there are ignorant nasty people everywhere in every country.
3. It is the Italian version of Liar? Maybe?

I think the whole discussion about men having coverage for maternity care is a bit childish and a cheap score. Few things to consider:
  • the premium one pays for maternity care is an extremely small part of the total premium sum. It is not that a man saves $ 100,-- annually. More like $ 10,--. And what a man would save has to paid by a woman. So on average it would be more or less the same.
  • a healthcare systems like the ACA relies on the vast number of insured people and solidarity (ouch! sounds like socialism!) among them. Then it will be affordable.
I thought this article informative: http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304213904579093371338509610

In principle I agree. The problem is, as I have stated all along, is that while $75-$100 a month doesn't sound like a lot to you and me, It does to a 25 year old who makes $25k-$30k a year. So they just won't sign up.
http://www.foxbusiness.com/personal...s-if-young-people-dont-sign-up-for-obamacare/

Ultimately there would have been a lot better ways to solve the small issues we had in health care. Instead the arrogant SOB's in Washington know better than all of us dumb mopey citizens who trudge off to work everyday. And if we don't like it; tough Sh*t. Shut up and take it.

So is the a zero sum gain? Wasn't there 22 million uninsured people this plan was meant to help? Now there's 22 million that just lost their health care-

22 million minus 22 million equals 0, except now 22 million more people need to sign up for Obamacare. Hmmm, like that doesn't smell like bovine excrement...

Oh, and I will go on record as saying that if 100% of US citizens are required to have Obama care, then 100% of US citizens should be paying taxes...then and only then should we have mandated SUBSIDIZED health care
